Tips for & by Young People
Henshaws has been running a project with young visually impaired people. One of the messages that came out of the project was that young people want information that is relevant to them. Often information is available for adults and for younger children but not for young adults. They want to be able to share hints and tips with each other and to pick up new ideas.
This section of Henshaws website has been designed for young people with a visual impairment between the ages of 11 and 25. It will give a basic idea of the kinds of services that are available for young people within this age range and there is a "Noticeboard" section where you can share your hints and tips.
Don't forget also to search the What's On section from the left hand menu bar to find out about upcoming Henshaws events for young people.
These pages are new and will continue to be developed. Please tell us what you think of the information we have provided. We also want you to send in your hints and tips and the best ideas will be featured on these pages. If you have any comments or ideas please email wendy.thompson@henshaws.org.uk

Henshaws is grateful to Agma for supporting this project
