A Meeting of Minds- Henshaws Society for Blind People has secured the support of Crain’s Manchester Business for its 2008 Manchester Minds corporate quiz and networking event which will take place at the five star Lowry Hotel on Wednesday 12th March 2008.

North West Dance Talent to Raise Funds for Henshaws - charity to benefit from first ‘MADNESS’ schools dance showcase- In a bid to raise money for ‘Henshaws Society for Blind People’, pupils from across Manchester will be dancing themselves dizzy next week, in rehearsals for the city’s first ever schools’ dance showcase – MADNESS (Manchester Dance Showcase for Schools).
Henshaws receives funding boost!- Trafford-based charity Henshaws Society for Blind People, were the grateful recipients of £250, thanks to the generosity of Trafford Housing and Baker Tilly.
Sale Shoppers Support Henshaws- Local charity, Henshaws Society for Blind People, would like to thank the shoppers and visitors to Sale for their generosity over the festive period, after donating £1000 in the Christmas Wishing Well at The Square Shopping Centre.
Trainer in training for marathon effort- Neil Kynaston is a man more used to textbooks than treadmills, and resource centres than running shoes. However, that’s all about to change as he has his sights firmly set on a demanding training schedule, to get him in shape for next year’s London Marathon.
Mai Ling's story- Henshaws service user Mai Ling Wong was an artist for 20 years. Despite her visual impairment, she has continued with her love of art, and designed two of Henshaws new Christmas cards for 2007.
Local charity secures city's Lord Lieutenant as its new Vice President- Leading North West charity, Henshaws Society for Blind People, has scored a real coup in securing Manchester’s new Lord Lieutenant Mr. Warren Smith as its Vice President.
